The Land of Enchantment
Canadian American here, although the U.S. Census Bureau apparently prefers second-generation immigrant. A linguaphile at heart, I started to learn French casually at an early age, before later taking formal instruction in school. I’m comfortable speaking Spanish, but wouldn’t call myself fluent. I’ve dabbled a little bit with many languages, particularly the Romance and Celtic languages. My current focus is to improve my French and work towards fluency in Breton.
I’m currently a full-time undergrad student still figuring out what to major in. For official purposes, I’m enrolled in a Liberal Arts programme. If you see me translating songs on here, I either have a break from schoolwork or I’m procrastinating doing it.
I reside in the southwestern U.S., which is also the corner of the world that I’ve travelled the most. I travel relatively often to Canada, but the only other country I’ve been to so far is Mexico, which I visited as a kid. Hopefully I can add a few more countries to the list soon.
