Your memory and I
Here am I, in the corner of a tavern,
listening to a song of my request,
they are serving me now my tequila,
and my thoughts are already going to you.
I know that my misfortune is your memory,
and yet here I come to think of you,
how bitter are the things that always happen
when there is a woman repaying with hurt.
Who doesn't know, in this life,
the betrayal, so well known,
that a foul love leaves on us?
Who doesn't come to the tavern
demanding his tequila
and requesting his love song?
Already they are serving me the last one,
by now I don't know if I have faith;
right now, I am only asking them
to play, once again, 'The one who walked away'.
Who doesn't know, in this life,
the so well known betrayal,
that a foul love leaves on us;
who doesn't come to the tavern
demanding his tequila
and requesting his love song.
Already they are serving me the last one,
by now I don't know if I have faith;
right now, I am only asking them
to play, once again, 'The one who walked away'.

Thank you Rosa, some suggestions
paga > repay (is more standard in this context, same number of syllables: when there's a woman repaying with hurt)
the betrayal, so well known > the so well known betrayal (sounds better)
mal amor > foul love (sounds better)
La que se fue > She walked away (differs but the gender becomes obvious)
