What Goes Around Comes Around

What Goes Around Comes Around
What Goes Around Comes Around

What Goes Around Comes Around
What Goes Around Comes Around

What Goes Around Comes Around
What Goes Around Comes Around

What Goes Around Comes Around
What Goes Around Comes Around

Baby

What Goes Around Comes Around

The third war happened, an event big enough to split the world in half
Offense and defense for over two years, fleets that burned through tons of gunpowder
Good countries and bad countries fighting, children that think that Papa is right:
A champion of justice who will catch the crooks. A Drama of a man in living in a green-roofed house.
After pointing a toy gun at the stuffed animal with a police badge stuck on it,
A cute, blonde haired boy with large eyes laughed sweetly.
The cloth of the stuffed animal he chose to be the crook is the enemy nation's flag.
This boy's father was sent out as an aircraft pilot
He pins on the police badge he received from his son who holds him in the highest aspirations and turns toward their base
Descending the hill road in one go, the face of the man on the offense simulations is already that of a soldier
He was told the strategy of the sortie at the actual location, as the leader of the sneak attack that would let the grand plan continue
Success in his chest. Rather than confusion, the sense of duty from being chosen was getting him fired up

What Goes Around Comes Around
What Goes Around Comes Around

The day of the operation. The steel plane chosen for the task had "GOOD LUCK" written on the fuselage
Leaving on the vanguard slowly, but reliably rising in elevation.
Circling enemy skies without losing his cool, abruptly with no reason why, his son's face crossed his mind.
Taking deep breaths to calm himself he smoothly pressed the last button.
The operation was surprisingly successful, as far as one could see the sea turned to fire.
In addition, a serious blow was dealt to the heart of the enemy country.
His fellows said "Wonderful" and extolled his achievement.
His burden became a smile of relief on his face, and he didn't even feel guilt anymore.
Regret flitting though his head only for an instant; he didn't even remember the name of the town he demolished.
After the operation he was sent home and wealth, fame, and social standing were prepared for him.
"Don't need this no more" as he throws the police badge he received from his son in the trash.
Replacing it with the golden badge he received for preeminent honor among soldiers.
Embedded in his badge were innumerable tiny stars,
The number seemingly decided by the number of conquered towns.

What Goes Around Comes Around
What Goes Around Comes Around

That night an alarm roared out. Just as victory was almost decided in the war, an unforeseen incident:
At the end, the enemy country amassed its forces and executed a similar sneak attack to the one it received, on the man's town.
Hurriedly rushing home, to find it gone. The wreckage of the green-roofed house had been transformed to a black and burnt structure of tile.
Pieces of furniture he recognized were strewn about.
Out of all the toys his son had loved that were now broken and in pieces, for some reason only the stuffed animal was left unburned.
Sleepless, the death of his family was confirmed in the news the next day...
From the depths of his despair a newscaster could be faintly heard reading aloud the next news story:
"Our country has won two victories in the war" and with it an image of the enemy country was shown.
Projected there was the scene of the town the man had attacked and conquered.
On the screen was a boy about the same age as the boy the father was searching for while weeping.
That boy's face somehow resembled the face of the stuffed animal.
Large eyes.... just like his son... just like his son...
The moment his eyes met the eyes of the boy in the CRT, the brilliance of the badge on his chest dulled.
The number of stars on the badge.... the number of stars was the number of people killed!

What Goes Around Comes Around
What Goes Around Comes Around

What Goes Around Comes Around
What Goes Around Comes Around

The number of snatched lives... the number of spilled tears...
Baby... If God exists he's giving us the middle finger...
Saying thanks for the needlessly large, wrinkled luggage...
It's not a fight of justice vs. justice... it's a fight of evil vs. evil
For both the winner and the losers always... hasn't it always been the weak people that get hurt...
The neighborhood park... and the lavender fields... and the sneakers he liked...
And the letters that came every month from you... and the family photos...
Everything burned... it can't be recovered.
The sky talks to the clouds but... the ocean talks to the waves but...
The forest talks to all the trees but... only humanity repeats its lonely destruction.
The herd of zebra were saying.... that another big earthquake was going to happen...
The whales said... another big tsunami was going to happen...
I listened to the birds' gossiping...
I listened to the bugs chattering...
I listened to the flowers murmuring...
