No

Night! Maybe, she will come back at once!
My calmness will come back, maybe!
Or maybe not! Maybe, it won't come back...
She forgot me, she doesn't love me!

No, my beloved, who loved me with all her soul, is no more!
Those eyes, that gave sense to my life, no!
My strong desire*, the delight of my soul is no more!
No more**...

Maybe, on the end of everything, she'll come back at once,
Maybe, we'll never see each other!
I'm tired of waiting, looking at your picture!
My eyes are tired, wanting to meet her...
Will she come back or not?
You see her, but I don't!
I think she won't come back anymore,
But my hopes, somehow, didn't disappear.

Am I crazy? How do I tell?
How will I be happy, looking at your picture?
You forgot me, I know that,
But why I wait you every night?
I certainly know that you're not coming back!
What shoud I do, this heart doesn't understand this,
I can't explain, why you left.
And I'll repeat it the following words -

No, my beloved, who loved me with all her soul, is no more!
Those eyes, that gave sense to my life, no!
My black-eyed beauty*, the delight of my soul is no more!
No more**...

Night, tell me, will she come at once to see me?
Looking at you, do you remember me...me?
I think she won't come back anymore,
But my hopes, somehow, didn't disappear.
No!...No!...

Well, I don't speak uzbek (unfortunatelly), but I've been listening to uzbek music since 2008-2009 and sometimes I read/ study/ take a look on its grammar (I intend to learn it someday, but where I live it's kinda useless to know uzbek), I don't think it's a difficult language, on the contrary, it's kinda simple, you kinda use one word to say a whole sentence. Of course, it's hard to tell since there are very little material for this language, it's impossible even to translate by online translators because they simple don't exist! And is also hard to find uzbek translators... When I'm translating some of these lyrics, I even look up in a uzbek-english dictionary, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, so I try to make it at least understandable, since I didn't cover up yet advanced aspects of russian grammar too.

What a speech...lol :P

yes, that's why i don´t know how to say thank you, when i said that uzbek is difficult i meant that is difficult to get uzbek lyrics translated, it took me a lot of time to find someone who could translate in a more talked language, in russian. i don't know how is uzbek, i started to listen uzbek music a few weeks ago and i was interested in some lyrics. and don't worry, i think is difficult to translate becouse you have to write doing understable in the language, it usually happens to me when i translate becouse i don't know how to write some expressions. and i think to translate uzbek lyrics is a big merit becouse there aren't a lot of translators, is not very talked, there aren't many translate pages and dictionaries, that´s why i apreciate it so much :)

I understand you. I really don't know why uzbek/ uzbeks speakers don't show up and translate their songs and so, they are so cool, why hide it? But, I'll tell you, I spent 2-4 years listening to songs without knowing the lyrics and/ or translation, sometimes I wanted sooo badly to understand what they were saying that I even tried to translate them myself (of course, I wasn't able to translate everything, but sometimes I could at least understand what the song was about). About the lyrics...At first, I googled the name of the song + the name of the artist + "qo'shiq matni/qo'shiqlar matni", but most of the times I couldn't find them. Now, after years listening to uzbek music, I can even distinguish words in a song (of course, without knowing their meaning) and google it, sometimes I find the lyrics, but sometimes I can't. Talking about it, I confess I tried to find the lyrics you are requesting, but I couldn't find it on google and the uzbek in the song is very fast, I can't understand the words.

yes, i think uzbek is a beautiful language, and they have to be proud and show their music to the world, i have listened some songs and i liked them a lot. yes, i understand you, i almost lose the faith becouse when i was searching for a lyric i couldn't find anything that´'s why i have upload some songs without lyrics, becouse i couldn't find them. i understand your feeling too, that happens to me, i listen song in other languages and i always want to know the meaning, that's one of the reason that i joined to this page, to find and translate lyrics. that's why i think uzbek is difficult, becouse of the material, there aren't a lot of translator, we have some dictionaries but we have insufficient resources. and i think your will power is amazing, to learn uzbek to understand the songs, that's fanstastic. i only speak well english and spanish

Yeah, I think so! Why so much hiding?! Show up, uzbeks! Show to the world your rich culture, your nice songs and movies!
I tell you, I'm fond of this language, that's why I want to learn it for real someday, it's a pity that uzbek is soooo useless in my country, I think most of the people here don't even know what is Uzbekistan and it doens't have diplomatic relations with my country, so...
Actually, I'm a language lover, an enthusiast, I want to learn as many languages I can. Besides my mother tongue, I speak english, russian and spanish. Russian I've learning alone, spanish I'm learning at a course, they are at same level, but I speak russian better than spanish, in reality, I still don't feel like translating to/from spanish, because spanish and portuguese are so alike, that even make it harder somehow.

lachicaorientallachicaoriental    Fri, 15/02/2013 - 23:29

yes, i share your opinion, i want to know more about uzbekistan, but is more difficult becouse this country is very hidden, i want to watch their films and listen their music, but is difficult to find resources. yes, i know, here in spain too becouse is not a very famous country, but is sad becouse their culture is very beautiful. i want to learn a lot of languages, but now, i can't becouse i´m very busy with studies. yes, portuguese and spanish are very similar, when i was in Lisbom people talked in portuguese and we understood a lot of words and we don't speak portuguese. if you have problems with spanish, don't worry, i will help you :)

Красавица с томными глазами - не обязательно должна быть черноглазой. Томные глаза - глаза с поволокой, глаза с желанием и кокетством. Где-то так. :)

Я поняла что вы имели в виду, даже поискала в словаре (узб/английский), но не смогла найти слово с тем же значением, так что переведу дословно. Спасибо за объяснение :)

Но, скажите пожалуйста, это относится к слову "xumor"?

Ashi UdegedanAshi Udegedan    Tue, 26/02/2013 - 04:49

Да, относится к слову хумор. В нашем случае, к слову хумор, когда оно употребляется не только для обозначения отдельного качества, а как имя для "обозначения" "всей" девушки, с головы до ног. Вот словарная статья:
xumor: (Arabic) strong desire, craving,
longing; desirous, longing for. ~i tutdi
to be lust or long for, to be overcome
by desire for, to get the itch for. ~ qilto
make crave, to make addicted to.
~dan chiq- to satisfy one's longing, to
get what one wants. ~ini tarqat-/~ ko'z
or ko'z(lar)i ~ languid eyes.
