Translations of "Zehn kleine ..."

Although Bundeswehr should be translated, Jägermeister shouldn't as it would remove the German feel from the song, and most English speakers are familiar with the word anyway. IMO the main issue with the translation, not that it isn't a good one, is that MCD is not in use, in BE at least, for Mad Cow Disease - it's BSE.

I am translating this song to Serbian and... If I don't translate Jägermeister as hunter then Serbian speakers will think it refers to Jägermeister as a drink. So what do you think I should do?

Thank you for the explanation! :)
However, I gave up on translating this one. Maybe someday. :)

Actually, they do both, in a way.
"Jägermeister" does not refer to hunters in German but only to the drink.
The song can be understood as a drinking song sung while drinking one Jägermeister after the other and making up funny stories as to where the one you just drank went.
However in addition, you can see from the video they're using fictional animals (looking like the deer from the Jägermeister bottle walking on his hind legs) as protagonists, the "Jägermeisters", who are what the song is also about.

Quite like your translation. I suggest to use "little" though instead of "small" because the song refers to " Zehn kleine Negerlein" which is "Ten little Indians" in english. So everyone will understand the relation.
