  • 1. "Angst" means "fear, dread" as well as "anxiety, worry", but it seems to me that the first meaning is inadequate in the context of the next line. (I respect a different interpretation as well.)
  • 2. Or: when everything changes

Nice work! I would recommend the use of footnotes instead of asterisks and brackets, it looks much nicer imo.
Btw, could it be that on the last line of the first verse they're actually saying "Nicht verstehen"? - I wasn't sure about that one.

I'd translate "hab keine Angst" to "don't be afraid" despite of the next line.

"doch alles bleibt stehen" normally means "but everything stops moving"

" Um weiter zu ruhn" -> " In order to rest further (=more)"
You can leave the "further" away; "weiter" as an adverb normally means "longer", "more".
So I'd translate it to "in order to rest any longer".

TrampGuy, I've added footnotes (didn't know how at first, but I found it), except for the title, because the site doesn't support them there. I think they do say "Nicht versteht", the last syllable is just a bit stretched.

Sciera, thanks for the suggestions. I'm still not sure for "Angst" in this context, but I have changed the other two a bit.

I'm no expert, but here goes anyway:

"Fear only what you Don't understand"

-> Fear only that which doesn't understand you

"Where do we want to go, Where are we now"

-> Where did we want to go, where are we now
