John and Yoko were photographed walking around Paris and shopping on their honeymoon.
- You can get married in Gibraltar, near Spain:
In 1969, John and Yoko got married in Gibraltar. They went directly to the British Consulate Office, where they were married during a 10-minute ceremony performed by registrar Cecil Wheeler. As Gibraltar was a British colony, and Lennon was a British citizen, they were able to go ahead at short notice.

While still on their honeymoon, John and Yoko staged the famous Bed-in for Peace at the Amsterdam Hilton Hotel (room 702) in The Netherlands.
