I know. The song was originally posted under "Chinese", but was re-classified after I did the translation and transliteration. I think the category for Taiwanese is understood by many to mean Taiwanese Mandarin (nearly identical to the Mandarin spoken on the mainland) instead of Taiwanese Hokkien (unintelligible to those who only know Mandarin) because there quite a few other Mandarin Chinese songs classified as Taiwanese on this website.
It is interesting! I think Taiwanese is meaning of "台語" but most of people don't know this language here. It look like Mandarin Chinese but sounds different. There are many beautiful songs in Taiwanese "台語" too. I am new here, I will share some Taiwanese Mandarin next time.
Yes. I don't really understand the intention behind the Taiwanese category, especially when there are no separate categories for other Chinese languages, such as Cantonese and Shanghainese. Personally, I think the Taiwanese category should only be used for songs in "台語" and songs in "國語" should be grouped with Chinese. That, or the category be merged with Chinese entirely.
I think that the translation is not words by words only, we should dig in the heart of song, figure it out what are the proper, even perfect words to match the spirit of the song. Most of time we think it too much, even hard to start. So just let us try, and go forward it!

This song is singing in Mandarin Chinese, not Taiwanese.....I think this song was recorded in Taiwan.
