Mother, the man with the cokes is there (Mutter, der Mann mit dem Koks ist da)

traducción al Inglés

Mother, the man with the cokes is there

Mother, oh mother
Mother, oh mother
Mother, oh mother
The man with the cokes is there

It was once called the black gold of the Ruhr,
It gave warmth, comfort and energy
In a special chemical process
volatilized from the original matter the gases
Coal becomes cokes
The people longed for the energy,
which the cokes provided them
But it was too expensive for the people
Mother, oh mother, the man with the cokes is there!

Mother, the man with the cokes is there
Yes, my boy, yes, I know that
Mother, the man with the cokes is there
Yes, my boy, yes, I know that
I don't have money and you don't have money,
Who has ordered the man with the cokes?
I don't have money and you don't have money,
Who has ordered the man with the cokes?

The black gold has become white
One takes a simple recipe
And cokes became coal again
Warmth, comfort, energy ...
Warmth, comfort, energy ...
Mother, oh mother, the man with the cokes is there

Mother, the man with the cokes is there

Coke is a collective noun - so should be singular (cokes = coke).

'volatilized from the original matter the gases'
is a little too technical and still leaves the subject at the end.
better: gases are released from the original matter.

'who ordered the man with the coke?'
('ordered' is a little awkward when speaking of people; you can order objects)
better: who called for the man with the coke?
