Nice lazy

Nice lazy

Dear Innocents, I'm going to tell you a history:

luxury is evident in the medieval castle
exploiting the village (people of village) without understanding that what's (the meaning of)working
collecting taxes for being able to parasitize
his majesty, the village for serving the king
his majesty, the village for fulfilling the law
one young villager that likes thinking
asked with interest: why there is inequality?
I broke my hand because of over working
and the king doesn't give me even one stick. He lives (by using) others
his majesty
The king, the king is escaping the law
The king, the king, nice lazy

centuries continue passing, the tradition continues
and the king is stocking to his chair
his royalty genes can privilege
that his descendant has been born for reign
his majesty
The king, the king is is escaping the law
The king, the king, nice lazy
his majesty
the king, the king

Well, it's my business now because you have now done the same thing to me. Both my rating of your translation and my comment justifying it are simply gone. However I won't ask you how you did it because I see how you did it.

Yet, it's not your business, because I didn't ask for your vote, nor your comments. I don't think that in my profile, I note that I'm fluent in Spanish and I usually welcome the comments that teach me something not the comments of nosy people that only put their blind comments or their own ideas. I didn't ask for your help, nor ideas. So, spend your time in another way.And... If you couldn't see it, I would suspect you, because even a child can know it in a blink....some lyrics have 3, 4 or more translations submitted by different people. If you don't see necessity for posting several translations, it's your idea, keep it with your own and don't do it, it's your own choice, don't push others to do it as well. I wonder what's your business in my page? If you don't like the translations, simply avoid them, why are you spending your time to read them, vote them and put comments?!! It's really odd that you are bothering yourself for just a translation.

Why you always come and offend me with your unpleasant comments (helpful or not)? you can put comments and vote, but be nicer. I'm not your student, nor your friend, nor I asked for your help. Seems you don't understand that you really sound unpleasant and maybe it's the reason of being astounded. I remembered finally, that it's not your first time posting such comments on my page. Can't you behave naturally like others that put comments and say their corrections?

ScieraSciera    Mar, 26/08/2014 - 16:06

@camellia: If I see it correct, you removed your former entry of this translation and re-added it again to remove a rating and comment that were given to you.

While such isn't mentioned in the website rules I wouldn't say that this is ancouraged behaviour. Every user is free to add comments and ratings, as long as they don't use insults and as long as the ratings are justified.

Yes Sciera, I added a new translation, because as you said, every user is free to add comments as long as they don't use insults. I don't remember every line of previous comments, but I think she insulted me by stating "the translation doesn't worth even a bit and it shouldn't be added". I don't think that she's in a place to say such things, most of the translations are not perfect and they are done by amateurs. Otherwise, she can't order me not to add a new translation on a lyric just because it had an old one. I take it as another insult too. It's her own opinion, not mine.

ScieraSciera    Mar, 26/08/2014 - 16:25

Next time please contact a moderator if you feel insulted.

I can't re-publish what you have deleted, so I now only have your word for it.

@una de dos piedras: Could you please tell me what you had written?
Best would be the actual comment, but since I don't expect you to have a copy of it saved, please summarize what you remember.

Well, my Spanish is well enough to see that this is at least not an awful translation.

Thanks Sciera for your advise, surely I will do it next time. I don't understand why she has so much prejudice on this translation. I also have other translations which were done after 2 or 3 other translations and they may have problems as well. She is focusing on this old one which was one of my first translations (before I re-submit it)!

una de dos piedrasuna de dos piedras    Mié, 27/08/2014 - 00:37

Well, at this remove, no I can't, especially since she has changed some of the lines I specifically mentioned. I am simply astounded that she thinks I have no right to make comments and rate translations. I would have thought that anyone had a right to do those things.

:) The moderator asked for a summary of your comments. You have the right to vote and comment until you don't insult, as some of the translations in my page have, but you don't have right to say in your comments " it doesn't worth, it's bad and it shouldn't be added when there is another translation". It's your opinion which was written in your comment and I consider it as an insult and discourtesy. because there are so many translations here including even yours that maybe someone doesn't like that so much or contains many problems, but even after reading the worst translation of someone, this doesn't make a sense or give you the right to put a comment stating "your translation doesn't worth and it shouldn't be added". Since you offended me by insulting in your comments, I have the right to add a new translation. I have seen some translations here, having even alphabetical problems, but I don't have the right to put a comment "While you can't even write, the translation doesn't worth". It's an insult, and in the rules, I'm not banned from removing my translation specially when someone insulted in the related comments. If you see problems, you can politely mention them in order to be corrected. You don't have right to insult between your comments or argue with me about what comments I posted for another persons!

It is mentioned in the rules part:

First rule

No insults. (except for within lyrics)

I didn't say that this wouldn't be allowed. If it's the truth, or at least well justified, then it is allowed to say that a translation is so bad that it shouldn't be published here. That's why I wanted to see the complete message, or at least a short summary of it.

Insults would be directly calling someone an idiot or worse.

ScieraSciera    Mié, 27/08/2014 - 14:23

The admins provided me with the deleted comment.
If someone of you wants me to send you the comment, I'll do so.

@una de dos piedras: While I see no real insults in it, it would be better if you'd address camellia directly instead of talking of her in the 3rd person beneath her translation - that's almost insulting in itself, as are phrases like "This difference is far beyond her comprehension.".
So, formulate your comments a bit more friendly. You can question the knowledge of someone, but refrain from questioning their intelligence if possible.

@Camellia: I warn you in the name of the admins that re-adding translations is not allowed.
The comment really was not nice, but it seems to have been helpful - for example, it mentions that you translated "seguir" with "follow" and that you should change that to "continue", which you seem to have done.

Both of you, please take things a bit more easy and try being nicer to each other.

Thanks Sciera, I will consult admins about comments, if I feel such again. I will appreciate if you add this (not to re-add) as a rule in the rules part as well.

Yes, I appreciate comments that help me to make my translation better, and I will correct if it's true, but actually I didn't read the comment completely because I felt too much prejudice and unpleasant tone in it.

Anyway, thanks for your help and advice.
