I think, Alexander, that the title should be "I dream of a world" as you translated it in the first line

Well, in russian that would sound a little bit awkward. "A world" means "a planet", maybe "all the inhabitants of the planet, ground, mountains, rivers, seas, oceans etc.", but the context of the song requires a word "peace", which is also "мир" in russian. Therefore I would say Pierre is absolutely right. ;)

Do you know, Alexander, This disagreement about how should "мир- Я мечтаю о мире" be translated has pushed me to think about something. Of course you are completely right to choose (peace) according to the text given here. But should or shouldn't the translator relate and connect his work with external references if there is any? What do you think?
