Every year in summer starts the same annoying procedure
With bag and baggage to Spain, because it's not expensive there.
We fly with Neckermann from Wahn to Benidorm.
There we get nicely tanned and are all in a great shape.
Well, well Mary, isn't this beautiful,
Everywhere only sounds from Cologne,
Here it really looks like home,
The only thing I miss
Is the view from the balcony
Onto the Cathedral.
Right at the first evening we do a BBQ
We grill the sausages we brought ourselves
We drink Cuba Libre and sangria until the end
As real people from Cologne we feel home everywhere.

The next morning everybody meets at the beach at ten.
The paper from home and the radio on the sand.
At noon we have lunch, they cook a warm meal at the hotel.
They serve pea soup and knuckle of pork once a week.

Neckermann (Reisen) is a travel agency that offers low cost traveling.
Wahn is the Name of the Cologne airport - Köln-Wahn, today the name Köln/Bonn is more common.
