Yes, You are right. I am totally agree with you. For example: I enjoy the chinese song "Free to Fly 自由飞翔" from 凤凰传奇Phoenix legend. It's really hard for me to show its meaning in other languages. The key is the thinking pattern or way of thinking.

I find that one of the wonders of the Chinese language is that it can use few words to express a great deal of meaning. As such, in my experience it has been easier to keep the meaning AND the rhythm of the original song when translating FROM other languages TO Chinese. Very difficult when going the other way.
