Perfect (Perfecta)

traduction en anglais

Perfect

Versions : #1#2
She looks at herself in the mirror without liking what she's seeing,
She wants it to be noted that she is more than it seems,
Full of insecurities,
She has so much to give.

She has become a slave to what people might think of her,
As sad consequence - a prisoner in her body.
Now, stop searching,
Because your soul wants to speak.

Close your eyes and see the beauty inside you,
Do not fear to be the treasure hidden by the sun,
And, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
God has made you perfect.

Now, live, feel, accept everything that surrounds you,
And learn to love yourself for your being, not for your looks,
For it is not the scale that brings happiness.

Close your eyes and see the beauty inside you,
Do not fear to be the treasure hidden by the sun,
And, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
God has made you perfect.

You are worth your weight in gold,
Your soul is a blessed treasure.

Close your eyes and see the beauty inside you,
Do not fear to be the treasure hidden by the sun,
And, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
Close your eyes and see the beauty inside you,
Do not be afraid to open those doors to your heart,
And oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
God has made you perfect.

You translated it PERFECT, thanks a lot! Smile

Oh one minor thing though, at the "as consequence..." maybe it should be sad consequence since it's "como triste consequencia"? But maybe it translates better without it.

Thank you, Rango! I am glad I could help! To be honest, I've totally missed that word! Thanks a lot for pointing it out, took care of it!

Isn't it "No tengas miedo de ser el tesoro que escondes hoy" instead of "...el tesoro que esconde el sol"? Most lyrics say "hoy" and I hear a 'y' at the end, not an 'l'.. ?
