Hello,

If any of you could translate these phrases to Farsi for me, I would greatly appreciate it:

- to take out the trash

- For the most part

- to make a transaction

- To make a deal

- Are you up for it?

-to get bored

-I'm cool with that.

-to act rowdy

-it depends (as in "Which one is your favorite?" "It depends", if there is an equivalent phrase for this)

Thank you in advance!

"daaram" and "daashtam" are markers of continuous forms in present and past tenses respectively, like certain auxiliary verbs in English. They show the subject "being in the process". Although even if omitted, they are usually inferred.

daaram baa to harf mizanam OR baa to daaram harf mizanam> I'm talking to you
daashtam baa to harf mizadam OR baa to daashtam harf mizadam> I was talking to you

sedaat mikonam vali javaab nemidi > I call you but you don't respond
daaram sedaat mikonam vali javaab nemidi> I'm calling you but you don't respond (OR are not responding)

"raftan" simply means "to go" and is the main verb there not an auxiliary. "Raftam oon linki ro ke ferestaade budi didam" means literally "I went and saw the link the you had sent" (~= I did see the link you had sent).

Some other examples:

boro be karet beres> go (and) get to your work / mind your business
برو به کارت برس

berim bebinim chi shode> let's go (and) see what's happened
بریم ببینیم چی شده

raftam ba Ali harf zadam > I went (and) talked to Ali
رفتم با علی حرف زدم

rafte siteshoon ro dideh > he's gone (and) seen their website
رفته سایتشون رو دیده

berid panjerehaa ro bebandid > go (and) shut the windows
برید پنجره ها رو ببینید

mirim mikharim > we'll go and buy
میریم میخریم
