The Black Rose

A rose in the evening
never turns black.

They have destroyed a swallow's nest,
they have thrown a stone up there,
they have cut the wings of a butterfly
and the butterfly doesn't move anymore.

They are changing the world,
they are killing me.
But a rose in the evening
never turns black.

They have brought a man to the frontier
and from that day he wasn't seen anymore.
They have thrown ink in the creek
and in the creek you can't see anything.

They are changing the world,
they are killing me.
But a rose in the evening
never turns black.

And everything goes, everything goes
until the earth will explode.
And everything goes, everything goes
until the earth will explode.
And everything goes, everything goes
until the earth will explode.
And everything goes, everything goes
until the earth will explode.
And everything goes, everything goes
until the earth will explode.
And everything goes, everything goes …

I can’t thank you enough my friend Valeriu Raut!, and many thanks for your kind words!. Now I know perfectly that you did your job and more, but please, please help me with meaning here :(They have brought a man to the border
and from that day he wasn't seen anymore). Did she meant that mysterious man working for some factory and they have thrown some chemical stuff in the creek and polluted it?. Because as I understand this song is about environment, right?. Please don’t hate me for being so annoying!. Thank you.

Good evening, Donnie Brasco.
First, I want to thank you for giving me credit and value.

Second, like every piece of art, a song doesn't give complete explanations.
Every listener understands it in his own way.
If you ask me about the meaning, I guess they have brought a man to the border,
then they have forced him to leave the country.
Or even: they have killed him, who knows?
The man disappeared.

Conclusion: this sad song tells us that our world is changing - and often for the worse.
We pay a high human price for our material development.

There are still a couple of words that could be improved.

Una rosa di sera non diventa mai nera = a rose, in the evening, never turns black.

Normally "frontiera" is "border" (of a country) but here it's intended as the "front", as during a war.

... la terra scoppierà = the earth will explode
Burst is a bit too "bubbly".

Missing repetitions of the 'E tutto va...' added - you may want to update your translation accordingly.
