Niemandslied
Dieses Lied haben wir im Dunkeln geschrieben,
damit es niemand sieht.
Ich sollte es besser gar nicht singen,
denn es ist ein schwaches Lied.
Wenn ich schon schwache Lieder hör' -
sie scheinen so sinnlos zu sein.
Deshalb ist ihre Popularität zu Recht
auch meistens klein.
Das ist ein Lied für Niemand,
das nur von sich erzählt.
Das ist ein Anruf für jemand,
der kein Telefon hat,
und dann auch noch verwählt.

Warum schreibt man überhaupt solche Lieder?
Gibt's nicht so schon zuviel Müll?
Tut man so was wenn man nichts zu sagen hat
und trotzdem etwas sagen will?
Und warum will man etwas sagen?
Nur weil Gott uns nicht stumm erschuf?
Kann sehr gut sein und außerdem
ist Schweigen kein Beruf.
Das ist ein Lied für Niemand,
das nur von sich erzählt,
wie ein Anruf für jemand,
der kein Telefon hat,
und trotzdem noch drangeht.
Immer will ich etwas sagen,
immer fang ich von vorne an.
