Search by artists has been updated, now it is possible to search artists by countries, languages, and genres http://lyricstranslate.com/en/artists

It’s good to hear!

BTW, will ever the translation requests search be fixed? I mean the bidirectional checkbox and highliting of results.

highliting fixed

for bidirectional search please use multiple languages in the fields "from / to", something like "english+german -> english+german"

This multiple selection of languages is excellent thing, really. Unfortunately it wouldn’t allow me to search from Bulgarian to Bulgarian. Earlier I could select Bulgarian in one of the fields check the bidirectional checkbox and get all requests to or from Bulgarian, and then sifting through the results I selected the one to work on. Thus the current implementation doesn’t allow experimenting with languages.

Great addition, thank you! I love the new layout.
Just a suggestion - could you make the list of the languages "expandable" if an artists has songs in more than say 3 languages? Currently, the OST and the anthems are taking the top places due to popularity in many languages, and it expands the list a lot.

I'd love to see the bidirectional search as Ivan said back too - it was very useful for searching within specific language now when the "Languages" show just requests/translations to a language. Thanks for the new implementation of more than one language too, it is great for languages pairs.

Now, if you specify the same language in the "from / to" fields (only one language), the search yields the results as it was with the option "bidirectional"
For example https://lyricstranslate.com/en/requests/14/14/none/none/0/0

The generic search (the search field on top of the page) does not find artists but only songs right now.

Nice news!

But can there be a way of listing artists alphabetically again? Selecting any of the letters/numbers now shows all the artists whose name contains that letter/number anywhere in it, not only those who start with it. I usually checked the alphabetic list at random to see probable duplicates.
