Blue Eyes

Blumchen on MTV
Leaves me totally cold
Supercool DJs
Just hang me
Dolce Gabbana
Calvin Klein
I couldn't care less about it
Sexy guys in the spotlight
I'm afraid I don't like it
I keep cool there
No feeling

Your blue eyes make me very sentimental
Such blue eyes
If you look at me like that, I won't care about a thing
Totally don't care
Your blue eyes are phenomenal
It's hard to believe
What I felt then is not quite normal

That is dangerous - extremely dangerous

So I fell asleep in Formula 1
Nor will I be in boxes
Of cocaine and alcohol
It's the full measure of stupidity
I keep cool there
No feeling

Your blue eyes make me very sentimental
Such blue eyes
If you look at me like that, I won't care about a thing
Totally don't care
Your blue eyes are phenomenal
It's hard to believe
What I felt then is not quite normal

Hi there.
Good job on your translation. I'd give ya 5 stars, but I'm afraid I've spammed it enough already hehe.

Just one thing:
I'm not sure why you left Bluemchen untranslated. It literally means like a little flower. But in the context here, I believe it means 'chick[s]' as in the slang we use to denote young women. e.g. "Hey! Look at those hot chicks there."

You should check the name of the artist...

Blümchen is not used as a slang word for chicks.

ah, that I must of overlooked. Thanks!
As for Bluemchen, I remember it being used in the context of "o mein kleines Bluemchen" --> "Oh, my little darling/girl/flower/bird/precious/pretty one, usw."
That is where my _supposed_ supposition of 'chicks' initially derives from -- my bad. Btw, I had assumed the translator (who has mysteriously removed his or her account) was a native English speaker from the states. Thus, I meant 'we' as in 'we' Americans use the word as slang. Not that the word in question was meant to be used by Germans in the same manner. Entschuldigung for the confusion.

Oh, well, you can call your girl a "Blümchen" if you are in a poetic mood, but it´s not commonly used to refer to girls in general...
