Hello,
So, I have a question - how does someone become a "moderator"?
Since I've been on the site, I noticed that you grow in rank, so at first you're novice, then member, senior member , super member etc.
Some "moderators" have less translations, and thanks than other "super members" or "members". How does it work?
Also, some people have medals, such as "Best translator," "Best comments" etc, and other members whose translations ranking is higher do not have these medals...

Hi KseniaD! Here's a thread with some info on the different ranks/roles: https://lyricstranslate.com/en/forum/user-roles

As for the medals, they were given by the administrators after work week was finished as some kind of 'thank you' to the participants. Work week (which actually lasted longer than a week) was a program made to comment and rate more translations on the site, providing more feedback so to say...
See these threads: https://lyricstranslate.com/en/forum/community-work-week

The reason some people may have few thanks is because this is a new feature.
Members can vote and thank. But guests can't vote on our translations anymore, so now they can only thank someone if they like the translation (so they won't abuse the rating system, by giving low ratings for fun).

As for becomming a moderator, you have to become eligible for the role.
I don't know how much info I can share on this subject, so I hope one of our administrators might fill you in on it. ;)

I had the same question in my mind; I hope someone would explain thoroughly. :)

Hi, simply deliver scores of good (or better:excellent) translations, then we'll see...

Ok, thank you very much to those who took the time to answer my question in detail.
I was really curious how the system works :)

Hi rakiuzo,

I was wondering if you could provide me an English translation of your answer to this question, as I don't speak Russian.
Thanks in advance! :)

Kind regards,
Joe

Серьёзно, хоть сегодня и 1 апреля.
Мне кажется сначала надо разъяснить, какую работу выполняет модератор...

Привет AN60SH,

Я не говорю на русском! :) Ты говоришь по английски?

Спасибо,
Joe
