Hello, I'm looking for more information about Zafa, the singer, I discovered while listening to a Putamayo album. Based in Israel, I've only heard her sing in Arabic, and what a voice! Like a young Fairouz, if I may venture.

I've searched far and wide on the net, but having only her romanized name, have only found this page on LastFm: http://www.lastfm.fr/music/Zafa?ac=zafa

The song, Tariki, that is featured on Putamayo, has no more information in the liner notes. Do you know if it is a traditional song? If there are transliterations / translations that exist?

You can listen to a fragment of it here:

as well as my attempt at transliteration (I don't speak Arabic):

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
