The miner

He goes
the miner
At three in the morning
With fuses and bombs on his shoulders
He goes to the mine

He sweats, he sweats, he sweats, he sweats
Under the burning sun, burning sun
He breaks, he breaks, the mountain ain
And he puts the mines, the fuses, the bombs
And he screams:
oh, watch out for the bombs!

The mountain breaks
The earth shatters

He sweats, he sweats, he sweats, he sweats
Under the burning sun, burning sun
He breaks, he breaks, the mountain ain
And he puts the mines, the fuses, the bombs
And he screams:
oh, watch out for the bombs!

But the mountain is strong
And some bitter day
He won't make it back home..

He sweats, he sweats, he sweats, he sweats
He sweats, he sweats, he sweats, he sweats...

The language here is Sicilian but the info says Italian, so please change it!

Molte grazie signorina Elena!. It’s a great song that deserve to be known widely. And you confirm my suspicion about the song, so it’s in Sicilian. I think you misspelling the "guses", you meant "fuses". Just small question: what is the meaning of "ain"?. If you need any help in Arabic just ask me. Thanks!

Thanks for correcting me! I adjusted it. "Ain" means nothing, it's just the repetition of the ending of mountain. In the original song, Modugno repeats the last letters of muntagna (mountain), so I did the same when translating!
