Hold The Wire
Hold the wire, hold the wire...
I don't care about you anymore than I do the rest
I bite the bullet, I loosen the weight
I don't have the words to relax myself
But hold the wire to stretch myself out well
Hold the wire, hold the wire
How good it is
Hold the wire, hold the wire
And you hold the world
I don't care about you anymore than I do the rest
I bite the bullet so that you stay
I don't have the weapons to hold you
And I tie you up to make you flee
Hold the wire, hold the wire
How good it is
Hold the wire, hold the wire
And you hold the world

For your first comment it does make sense and I know exactly how to fix it to fit your explanation so don't worry about it ;)
As for your second I'll just go with the phrase "bite the bullet" just cause I've always liked that phrase. It makes me think of action packed movies :D
I'm also not 100% sure which meaning the author had in mind for "m'étendre" so I think I'll leave it alone for now until we can get some type of confirmation about which meaning is right
Instead of 'relax me' and 'stretch me,' 'relax myself' and 'stretch myself.'

"I don't care about you like the rest" --> I'm not sure whether this line is accurate or not...but the French means that she/he doesn't care about him/her any more than she cares about the rest. Like, she/he doesn't give a darn about neither that person nor the rest of things. Anyway, my explanation makes no sense at all so I'll just move on :)
"Je prends sur moi" --> you can judge which option fits better here
"m'étendre" --> could also mean 'lie down', I'm not sure which one the author meant
