With all my might, I asked you
to come and dance, dance with me.
No sooner had I touched your hands,
my heart had already grabbed yours.
With all my might I looked for you
With all my might I will love you.
Tonight your dress sticks to my skin
and your fingers run down my spine.
Your lips close as you hum
loving words under your breath
With all my might I looked for you
With all my might I will love you.
With all your might your heart surrendered
in the silence of my kisses
and now I already know
that you're mine forever.
With all my might, I will love you
With all my might, I will love you
With all my might
With all my might, I will love you
My oh my, what a crooner :D
.
Now seriously folks, "A corps perdu" litterally means "up to losing my body" (considering my body expendable). In older French that would have meant something like "or die trying", but the expression has lost its original strength, so "with all my might" ("whithout any restraint") is closer to the actual meaning.
