¹OK, I just don't think you can sing "...e..." as part of a song in English. The other letters are pronounced quite subtly, I admit, but I believe they're there 
²Literally 'love of velvet', but that sounds too much like she has a kink involving velvet.
³My dictionary has 'nobby' and 'hunky-dory', so I'm going with something a little more contemporary sounding; sorry if it sounds just like the word I'm supposed to be translating
⁴My Romanian isn't really good enough for this line. I'm assuming the feminine pronoun is referring to the feminine noun 'love' (like velvet) just before it.
⁵I'm putting in the 'felt' because the grammar parallels the previous verse with 'felt' in it, but the grammar doesn't work in English ('loved that much towards someone'), so I'm using slightly different grammar but keeping the parallel by using 'felt.'

The girl is Romanian, of course, and Romanian language is a cousin of Portuguese and Spanish.
The E in this sentence "Prima oară, e prima oară" is the verb to be (este < a fi): "The first time, it's the first time". The other E's are just for the sake of music.

Yes, Mick Jagger sings in a fake accent meant to sound African American. His real accent is what he sounds like when he's talking.
Seriously, Kamelia sounds to me like she pronounces Romanian differently than the Romanian singers I usually listen to. It sounds more like Portuguese to me.
