Is there a member of this site who has a musical background that might be able to translate some Tim Maia songs in a way in which the new English lyrics stay within the musical arrangement of the original? In other words, it doesn't have to be a literal translation, but rather a translation that maintains the essence of the message of the lyrics while keeping within the exact musical beat/arrangement of Maia's original songs? If so, please contact me and we can hopefully discuss a work for hire. Thanks!
