・What I translated as "the bright side" is actually a phrase "Hakke yoi" used most often in Sumo wrestling matches by the referee to spur combatants to movement if they are locked together. But the etymology of the phrase is from the Chinese/Taoist 8-segmented wheel called the "Bagua", which could be considered a philosophical representation, or graph of sorts, categorizing all phenomenons in reality, placing opposites across from each other–similar to a color wheel does. The Bagua has also been used for divination. Beyond the Sumo wrestling usage, "Hakke yoi" literally means "The Bagua is good" a reference to either the divination aspect or those categories of the Bagua which are the better sides of the opposite-pairs. Thus "the bright side" of life/reality.
・The stanza about Avalokitesvara seems to be chanted in the background before the chorus. As written it's basically one big reference to the Buddhism, specifically the Heart Sutra.
