Es ist schon weit nach Mitternacht,
mein Tag ist längst vorbei
Mir fallen gleich die Augen zu, verdammte Fahrerei!
Das Radio bringt Countrysound,
ich krieg nichts and`res rein
Das geht so durch bis sechs Uhr früh,
ich glaub, ich schlaf gleich ein.

Ich möcht so gern Panterra hör`n, Accept und S.O.D.
`n richtig harten Metal-Song doch sowas spiel`n die nie!
Ich möcht so gern Iron Maiden hör`n
und Kiss und Judas Priest
Ich hab ne Country-Allergie und drum hab ich geniest

So lieg ich hier im Krankenhaus,
es piepst das EKG, nen traurig monotonen Groove,
mir tut mein Kopf so weh.
Der neben mir im Nachbarbett, der trägt ne`n Cowboyhut
Sein Radio spielt Countrysound,
das find ich gar nicht gut.

Ich möcht so gern Slayer hör`n, Accept und Judas Priest
`n richtig harten Metal-Song doch sowas spiel`n die nie!
Ich möchte Seppultura hör`n
Sodom und Manowar,
Ich hör mein EKG nicht mehr, ich hör den Engelschor...

Jetzt ist meine Beerdigung, ich lieg im Eichensarg
Der Pfarrer predigt stundenlang, doch redet er nur Quark
Der Organist spielt Countrysound - selbst hier -
das gibt`s doch nicht
Ich steig aus meinem Sarg heraus und brüll ihm ins Gesicht:

Ich möchte nur Black Sabbath hör`n, Possessed,
und Celtic Frost
Sonst spuk ich hier noch länger rum
und werde kein Kompost
Ich möchte Bad Religion hör`n, Ramones und Rose Tattoo
Dann leg ich mich auch wieder hin
und lass euch eure Ruh.
