Törsten

Brännvin ut och brännvin in
Och brännvin alla dagar
Brännvin har jag i mitt sinn'
För brännvin jag nu klagar

Brännvin blir mitt sista tal
När som jag ska vandra
Ifrån denna denna brännvinsdal
Ibland fyllhundar andra

Brännvin är min enda tröst
Brännvin är min hälsa
Brännvin brukar jag för mitt bröst
Brännvin kan mig frälsa

Brännvin ut och brännvin in
Och brännvin är mitt bästa
Och fan ta den som brännvin har
Och inte bju'r sin nästa

Tradução

The Thirst

Brännvin in and brännvin out
And brännvin every day
Brännvin is on my mind
Now I complain about brännvin

Brännvin is my last speech
When I'm going to walk
Away from this brännvin valley
Sometimes there are other drunks

Brännvin is my only comfort
Brännvin is my health
Brännvin, I normally use for my chest
Brännvin can save me

Brännvin in and brännvin out
And brännvin is my best friend
And fuck those who have brännvin
And don't offer their next bottle

You could use "Brandy, I normally use for my chest." in the place of the question mark. I'm not able to type the Swedish word for Brandy on this computer, but that would probably be fitting. ;) I still like the Swedish word better, since Brandy is not really the actual correct translation for potato liquor.

Updated, thanks. :) Also, good to know it's a good translation, I appreciate it. Brännvin can also mean vodka, it's a very general term for potato liquor.

I might offer "sorry for misspellings"
In the first verse, "Brannvin out and Brannvin in". A direct translation from Swedish to English verbatim.

Did I spell something wrong?

No not you, me LOL! My keyboard here at work will not let me use Swedish fonts so I had to write Branvinn without the umlaut marks.

Oh, lol. in Swedish if you can't use the letter ä it's acceptable to replace it with just a.

I think a more appropriate wording of the third line would be "I have brännvin on my mind" rather than "in my brain". Thank you very much for the translation though :)
