I saw stars that illuminate the world

And with time disappear

I climbed mountain peaks on the way

too I asked the advice of the wise

There is no one besides Him, His glory fills the whole earth

The Holy One blessed be He is King and I his servant

In wars against the urge like water-thirsty desert

man is subdued

And again the soul seeks refuge

under the wings of the Shekhina

Also I stood in the doorway like everyone else

seeking forgiveness from the King of the World
