قبل منامي مرَّ ببالي وَحْيُ سؤال
لو أنّ لعمري ميزانًا، ما المكيال ؟
أيُقاسُ العمرُ بأيامٍ أَمْ أعوام ؟
فتأمّلتُ، جلستُ أفكّرُ فيما يُذكر حينَ يُقال

لن تُذكرَ إلاّ الأعمال
