Translation into Hebrew and Yiddish, please :)

however if you are willing to study hebrew, don`t try to translate from english to but hebrew, but rather the opposite. That`s the right way to study a language in my opinion.

Since I believe we learn languages for a certain reason, my Icelandic fits my reasons and needs.
I study old Icelandic texts (Edda). I read it in russian and english, then Icelandic.
I usually recognize most words in the original text (old Icelandic), especially after I know what it`s about, because some words I know and others I learn on the fly.
It`s very similar to english and german. f.e. :

"Hvat er þat fiska,
er rennr flóði í,
kann-at við víti varask?
Höfuð þitt
leystu helju ór,
finn mér lindar loga."

Hvat = What.
þat (þ reads like in "oath") = that.
fiska = fish. rennr = runs.
flóð (ð reads like in "the") = flow.
Höfuð = (german : Haupt - head).

The rest is not so easy, so I look in the dictionary. This way I learn.
I believe I know several thousand words and expressions.

I`m more into old icelandic and I can help only if there`s a text. The transliteration would be quite accurate but I can`t guarantee it`d be as accurate as if was it english, hebrew or russian (for me).
But I can try.

I can do that only by the Icelandic lyrics (if you find it).
