Could anyone help me with the "Siri .................... " part? That might be in Serbian. It's at minute 3:38.

M-a făcut muma frumoasă,
iula-iulai-la
M-a făcut muma frumoasă,
iula-iula-iulai-la-ha iula-iulâi-laa
Și mă ține-nchisă-n casă
iula-iulai-la
Cu ferlanga la fereastră.
iula-iula-iulai-la-ha iula-iulâi-laa

Nici la apă nu mă lasă,
iula-iulai-la
Nici la apă nu mă lasă,
iula-iula-iulai-la-ha iula-iulâi-laa
Nici la lămne-n bătătură,
iula-iulai-la
Că se teame că mă-nfură.
iula-iula-iulai-la-ha iula-iulâi-laa

Siri ....................
iula-iulai-la
Siri ....................
iula-iula-iulai-la-ha iula-iulâi-laa
M-a făcut ș-așa frumoasă,
iula-iulai-la
Și mă ține-nchisă-n casă.
iula-iula-iulai-la-ha iula-iulâi-laa

Siri ....................
iula-iulai-la
Siri ....................
iula-iula-iulai-la-ha iula-iulâi-laa
M-a făcut ș-așa frumoasă,
iula-iulai-la
Și mă ține-nchisă-n casă.
iula-iula-iulai-la-ha iula-iulâi-laa

Tam-dam...

Haha, that is not Serbian. But Bilja didn't pronounce it correctly Tongue smile

Min. 2:41 It's "Fire-ai, maică, păcătoasă!" ("Fire/Firi/Sire/Siri-ai, maică, păcătoasă!")

She didn't? :o She's known for etno songs I believe.

Hmm, what does etno mean to you? Etno/Ethno... sounds like modern remakes of authentical/genuine/traditiona/really old songs.
She says something like "Siri, maiclă, păcânțoase". But she performs very well here, it's probably the best version of the song.

Yes, I meant ethno Tongue smile

She also played a role in a film called 'Zona Zamfirova' as a tavern singer.
A movie where they speak similar to Bulgarian.

Wow! This film has got... everything... (traditional) Serbian (near Bulgarian) music, a beautiful girl (is she the one undressing by the window?), many more beautiful girls taking bath, traditional outfits, comic situations. I've got to watch it!

Hahahaha, so THAT got your attention? Yes, she's the girl undressing. Then they start to sing a song about her undressing...

I've heard that a man is capable of watching the dullest 3 hour-long film if he knows that by/at the end of that film a girl undresses. That's because men are... tough! Aren't we the strong gender? Tongue smile

(Actually, I think that was a line I've heard in a film. Can't remember whether a girl finally got undressed, but I assume it happened, otherwise I wouldn't have watched it.)

I've just remember another scene from a movie: a man and a woman were lying in bed after making love and she... well... she broke wind and probably felt ashamed. But the guy was happy:
"Wow!"
"That happens, I'm sorry"
"Oh, we've been making love for 6 years and now it's the first time you let it go. Do you know what that means? That means 'I love you'. That's real intimacy. That's love"
(something like that).
You see? We think differently, we are different entities/species.

Right. Ocasionally, some men come from Pluto and some women from another galaxy. Biggrin

Yeah, right. Either that or it might also be true that women are from this Universe and men are from a bi- or unidimensional one.

By the way, I watched a beautiful film today about a brave little Finnish girl from Sweden. It's about languages and other stuff.

That could certainly explain a lot of miscommunication Regular smile

Oh cool...I'll have to look at the film when I get home from work.
