Kad ti dođoh do mezara, ya Resulallah,
Kad ti duša Selam nazva, ja Habiballah,
K'o Sulejman, uz štap stajah, ja Nebijjallah,
Obeseljen i kaharan, ja Šefi'allah!
 
Sve do svoda nebeskoga,
Zavoljeh te, Muhammede!
Više nego ikog svoga,
Šefaatdžijo srca moga!
 
Dvorce, hazne, zijamete, ja Resulallah,
Kralj i sultan ostavljaju, ja Habiballah.
Zeman-ruka sve zamete, ja Nebijjallah,
Vjetar na njih praha metne, ja Šefi'allah.
 
Ti ostavi samo riječi, ja Resulallah,
K'o svoj miraz od Rahmana, ja Habiballah,
Da nam srce se izliječi, ja Nebijjallah,
Kad od straha grješno ječi, ja Šefi'allah!

When I came to your Mazaar

When I came to your Mazaar1, ya Rasul Allah2,
When the soul called Salaam3 upon you, ya Habib Allah4,
As Suleyman5, I stood along a stick, ya Nabi Allah6,
Filled with happiness and Qahr7 at the same time, ya Shafi' Allah8!
 
All the way to the vault of heaven,
I fell in love with you, o Muhammad!
More than with anyone of my own,
O you, the Shefaatci9 of my heart!
 
Castles, khaza'in10, ziamets11, ya Rasul Allah,
The king and the sultan are leaving behind, ya Habib Allah,
The hand of Zaman12 sweeps everything, ya Nabi Allah,
And the wind puts dust on all of them, ya Shafi' Allah.
 
You have left only words, ya Rasul Allah,
As your miraz13 from Rahman14, ya Habib Allah,
So it can cure our heart, ya Nabi Allah,
While it sinfully sobs in fear, ya Shafi' Allah.
