На Різдво Христове Ангел прилетів
І велику радість людям говорив
Ви люди святкуйте! В цей день колядуйте,
В день Христового Різдва!
Я лечу від Бога, радість вам приніс,
Що в вертепі темнім народивсь Христос
Скоріш поспішайте, Младенця вітайте
Новонародженого!
Пастушки в печеру, перших всіх прийшли,
У яслах на сіні Господа знайшли
Стояли співали, Христа вихваляли
І Святую Матір Його!
Люди всі устріли, ясную зорю
Прийшли поклонитись Богу і Царю
Богу поклонились, Царю дари дали
Ладан, смирну і золото
Ірод це почувши, крепко в злість упав,
По цілому світу військо розіслав
Дітей всіх побили, мечі притупили
А Христос навіки зоставсь!
Всі ми согрішили Спасе Дорогий
Всі ми люди грішні, Ти один Святий
Прости прогрішення, дай нам обновлення
В день Христового Різдва!

At the birth of Christ an angel had flown in
At the birth of Christ, an angel had flown in
And of a great joy, had spoke to them all
You people celebrate! This day, carol'in do go,
On this day of Christ's birth!
I from God did fly in, joy to you did bring,
That in a dark stable, there the Christ was born
Quickly hurry there, the young infant to greet
The newly born infant son!
To the cave the shepherds, first of all came in,
In the manger on the, straw they had found the Lord
Standing they were singing, praising Christ the Lord
And his All Holy -Mother there!
All the people came upon, a bright star above
They came and they worshiped the God and King
To God they bowed down, the King they gave him gifts
Of frankincense, 'n myrrh, and gold.
Herod had heard of this, fell into a rage,
Through out the whole world, his army he did send
Slaying all the children, dulling all their swords
And Christ forever has remained!
We all have sinned so, my Dear Savior
People are all sinners, you only are Holy
Do forgive our trespasses, do give us renewal
On this day of Christ's birth!
