La cinema

Am sunat acasă la ea,
Mi-a răspuns altcineva:
"Să ştii că nu e aici,
E plecată la servici !"
Am întrebat: "Cînd să revin ?"
Mi s-a spus s-aştept puţin.
Am aşteptat cam un minut,
După care s-a-ntrerupt...
 
Cerul e jos şi-ascuns de nori,
Se-aude ceasul de două ori...
Păsări tot zboară undeva,
Poate-o să plouă curînd...
 
Am sunat şi la servici,
Cineva mi-a zis "Nu-i aici !
Încearcă mata la 102,
Strînge nişte date pentru noi !"
La 102 era ocupat,
Aşa c-am închis şi-am mai aşteptat...
M-am dus la chioşc, norocul meu:
Mi-a schimbat cinci lei în fise de-un leu !
Acum aştept pe trotuar,
Sper că nu în zadar.
Am flori, bomboane,
Fise de telefoane !
Am şi-o surpriză pentru ea:

I called her at her home,
someone else has answered:

At 102 the line was busy
so I closed and I waited a little...
Got to the little shop, what a luck:
they changed my 5 lei (bill) in coins of 1 leu!
Now I'm waiting on the sidewalk
hopefully not in vain.
I got flowers, candies,
telephone coins!
I also got a surprise:
