It's the month January which derives from "Janus", the Roman god of all beginnings and endings (and a lot more) who had two faces looking at the past (=the old year) and at the future (=the new year).
(II) m+6=(b+6)×5 ⇒ m+6=b×5+30 ⇒ m-24=b×5 ⇒ b=m÷5-24
(b→I) m=21+(m÷5-24) ⇒ m=m÷5-3 ⇒ 0.8m=-3 ⇒ m=-3.75
