I don't know what you'd do without me, Fulicasenia.

La la la lai lai lai la

Dimineața e frumoasă când mă trezesc cu tine,
Se-ndulcește și cafeaua cu a ta iubire,
Dimineața e frumoasă când mă trezesc cu tine,
Se-ndulcește și cafeaua cu a ta iubire.

(Refren: )
Un buchet de trandafiri
Ți-aș aduce zi de zi
Lângă el și un inel, inel,
Să port dragostea prin el.
(bis)

La la la lai lai lai la

Când te văd mergând prin casă
Nu mai pot de drag,
Eu te-aș săruta întruna,
Că prea mult te plac.
(bis)

(Refren: ... x2 )

La la la lai lai lai la

But it all comes with a price :P

Here's how I see music:

1. a) Shallow, silly, yack!

1. b) Emotion, sadness, greatness!

2. a) Shallow, silly, yack!

2. b) Emotion, nostalgia, cool!

Thanks Calusarul! :)

Actually, I have never watched the Pokerface video before, and alas, I like the song even more after seeing it! She does a good imitation of a moe japaneses idoru. But I like the acoustic version too :) Wow, she does a lot of songs that way!

And my revenge, for calling The Black Eyed Peas shallow and silly? Behold:

Ha! Who created this fiendish grammatical challenge? Am I crazy, or is the second line the hardest Romanian phrase I have ever encountered??? Is is poetry? Some elaborate metaphor? Or just hard grammar?

I have no sound now and can't listen to that dub ciuleandra at this moment, but will do first thing tomorrow.

The second line? This one?
Se-ndulcește și cafeaua cu a ta iubire = Se îndulcește și cafeaua cu a ta iubire = Se îndulcește și cafeaua cu iubirea ta = Even the coffee is sweetened by your love

You find that poetical? Not bad, sugar daddy, but I find it pretty banal. :)
Thanks for the word "fiendish" though, I did not know it. And I have no idea what you meant by that idoru thing. Wait... You probably meant aidoru, Japanese star, right?

yes, aidoru, my japanglish is even worse than my romanian ;). Thanks for the help on that line... my guess was way off! I wasn't actually claiming that it was poetical, I was just wondering if some far-fetched poetical contortion of normal word order or grammar, or some complicated metaphor, could account for my inability to understand it. But really, it was just my lack of knowledge :)

Well, I'm listening to "your" dubbed Romanian music now.
I don't dislike it. I enjoy... sound.
But I don't love it.
You feel me?

I know dubbing uses samples, that's how it's done. It's fine.
Here's one of those songs, made by one of those guys (Blanoz). This one has a meaning, a message. It talks about Romanian 89 Revolution and Romanian society in general.

And here's another dub musician I like a lot. He's passionate about it, he's very... authentic - in my opinion. He's communicating his feelings, not just his sound - that's why I like him.

Focus, fulicasenia, focus.

I feel as if I were a woman and you were paying no attention to what I was saying because you were watching my cleavage.

All sounds are great, but... ah, let's face it, you'll never be me. And I'll never be you.

I rest my case. Yeah, cleavages/sounds are incredible too. :)
