Hi, I read the transcription and it's correct. The missing part is as follows:
Thank you, guys.
Question: where do I have to put the final question mark (?) in that fragment ? After "esclavo" or after algo más" ?
You are welcome.
I think the pope's speech was cut, and the second part ("con mi llanto...") doesn't make a lot of sense in that question anyway. So I guess you should put the question mark affter "esclavo" and leave the rest of the text as an affirmative sentence, feels more natural that way.
In this portion of the transcription, there are no questions, but statements. No question marks should be there.
(I'll listen to him.)
I have listened, and I see that "all those questions" come from the previous line "Los invito a que cada uno se pregunte:....", therefore, they are questions, and the closing question mark, as Juan said, could go after "esclavo", where the Pope makes a pause.
However, the two last verses ( ("con mi llanto..."), don't appear in the video. Perhaps they don't belong there, since something seems to be missing for the idea to be clear. And, by the way, he says "con mi llanto, ese CANTO..."
What do you think of this?:
¿yo aprendí a llorar?...."
It is more clear in this order. Now, if this is the answer, and these two verses are at the end of the stanza, the question mark should close them.
@ roster 31, I actually don't speak Spanish, so please feel free to edit the text as you please. Thanks.
I did.
Nobody has responded to my comment but, I think my proposition is correct,
Thank you.
¡Suerte!
Seguí tu palabra y lo cambié.
Thank you, Florin for your 'likes'.
Do you need any translation on my comments?
It's OK, I only liked what I understood ;)
I do understand some Spanish. I never studied it, but I watched an entire telenovela when I was young and I like Almodovar's films, the music of Julio Iglesias, Camaron. Still, I am not able to say whether something is correct or not in Spanish, so I trust you took the right decisions for Pope Francis' speech and song.
I also like you flamenco dancer photo and the songs you've recently translated. Gracias por l'aiudo y hasta luego :)
I appreciate your answering. Thanks.
