The temptation is to translate this one to either "Skies were full" or even "Heavens were full"
But can this really mean that...
1. " the skies were cloudy"
or could this expression even be an idiom suggesting that
2. "ones head is fuzzy and totally confused"
I am beginning to wonder about how I am translating this expression
Without context I couldn't tell for certain what it means, either.
Next time please provide a link to the lyrics.
Well, those you mean? https://lyricstranslate.com/en/Andrea-Berg-Du-hast-mich-1000-Mal-belogen...
It means "But heaven was occupied (by someone else)".
