От щастието най боли текст
1. | Бял мерцедес (Byal mercedes) |
2. | Живея за теб (Jiveya za teb) |
3. | От щастието най боли (Ot shtastieto nay boli) |
I saw people say that in the comments section. I can't say I know the rules of the Bulgarian language, but that sounds like a hard-to-be-made mistake to me.
It is a great song nevertheless; very deep and meaningful - much different from what we're used to seeing from Planeta.
I'm gonna go for a wild guess here: should you only use the hypen when 'nay' and 'po' are connected to adjectives, instead of nouns, like in this case? (not sure if 'boli' would stand for 'pain' or 'hurts' originally)
боли is a verb, not a noun. But yes, по- and най- are the adjective's prefixes for the comparative/superlative forms, corresponding to "more X" (or X-er) and "the most X" (or the X-est) in English. They can be used for adverbs too (closer, faster, sooner, etc)
There is no hypen when the word is a noun or a verb (you can see something like пò, which is not really common in online writing, but it corresponds to that hypen that shouldn't be written; it distinguishes it from по, which is a preposition).
There are many, many cases when they put a hypen after по, even though it's not necessary, I've seen it in the posted in so many online lyrics, especially the ones from tekstove that I've had to re-write not once or twice. So don't believe everything you see online, hehe :) people either don't know, or don't care/bother to write correctly nowadays.
Hope that helps, if you have any other questions, please let me know :)
Thanks, Cherry!
I should've guessed 'boli' stood for 'hurts', since I'm almost sure 'bolkata' stands for pain, amirite?
I've seen video titles and lyric videos from Planeta with incorrect grammar before, so it wasn't hard to believe what people said in the comment section :P
Thanks for further explaining the matter again!
