Galicia's anthem

What do murmurers say,
in the green coloured coast,
under the transparent gleam
of the placid moon?
What do high tree tops say
of dark needle harp
with its well paced
monotonous buzz?

Of your tight greenery
and of benign stars,
confine of the green hillforts
and brave floor,
Don't give to forgiveness
of the insult, the rude fury;
wake up from your sleep
Breogán's Home. (old Celtic king of Galicia)

The good and the generous.
understand our voice
and with enchant they heed
our hoarse sound,
But just ignorant people
and wild and stubborn, (or tough)
imbecils and dark people
they don't understand us, no.

The times have come
of the bards of the ages
that your vague words
will have a fulfilled end;
because, where it wants, gigant
our voice hawks
the redemption of the good
Nation of Breogán.
