Suur loterii
Aeg ei peatu
kõik tähed kustuvad
vana vaksal
ei ole raudteejaam
mõnest rongist
olen elus maha jäänd
üks tõi siia
ja siia ma ka jään
olen tundnud
kuidas süda puruneb
saanud haavu
millest eal ei parane
öös on asju
millest üle ma ei saa
terved elud
mis on mälestusteks saand
ÄRKAN SU KÕRVAL JA NÄEN
VEEL UNESKI HOIAD MU KÄEST
MA TEAN SEE ON MEELETU ÕNN
ELU SUUR LOTERII
MILLE ÕNNELIK VÕITJA ON SIIN
läbi pargi
läheb siiani allee
kogu elu
on viinud siit mu tee
sulen silmad
vaatan ajas tagasi
kauniks mandalaks
on settind eluliiv
tõmbad loosi
kui veab on hea
kui ei vea siis ei vea
ÄRKAN SU KÕRVAL JA NÄEN
VEEL UNESKI HOIAD MU KÄEST
MA TEAN SEE ON MEELETU ÕNN
ELU SUUR LOTERII
MILLE ÕNNELIK VÕITJA ON SIIN

Превод
Big Lottery
I have missed some trains
in my life.
One brought me here
and here I'll stay.
I have felt
my heart breaking,
gained wounds
that'll never heal
There are things in the night*
that I can't over.
Whole lives
that have become memories.
I wake up beside you and I see
that even in your sleep you're holding my hand.
I know that it's an unimaginable blessing.
The great lottery of life
and it's lucky winner is here.
Through the park
an avenue still passes.
All my life
I have used that road.
I close my eyes
and look back in time.
The sand of life has become a beautiful mandala.
You draw you lot
If you're lucky, it's great..
If not, then that is so.
I wake up beside you and I see
that even in your sleep you're holding my hand.
I know that it's an unimaginable blessing.
The great lottery of life
and it's lucky winner is here.
- 1. Quite ironic that gare (French) and вокзал (Russian) certainly mean railway stations, huh? Look at author's comments.

Коментари аутора:
The first verse has at least two references to other songs: "Aeg ei peatu" by Apelsin and "Vana vaksal" by Iff himself.
"Vana vaksal ei ole raudteejaam" maybe just means that now that old building is used as something else. Or maybe this reference is just being cocky.
"Öös on asju" sounds cliché. It might be a novel by Mati Unt, or another (newer?) song.
