Do you know what, Buen Sabor?
I have changed my English translation the way you advised me.
Because you are native English speaker and I am not.
But I do not agree with your opinions.
.
Voy de paso means: I walk slowly. This is the sense here. I do not hurry.
Aprovechame (que me puedo ir mañana) has the meaning:
Take advantage of me, abuse me.
Y va liviano mi corazón gitano (que traiciona a menudo) has the sense :
unfaithful goes my gipsy heart.
As a translator I should have my freedom to interpret the way I feel.
You are more than welcome to correct my spelling, not my interpretations.
Besides, feel free to do another English version, of your own.
.
Let us not quarel about Shakira too, take her and leave me Isabel Pantoja. Thanks.
Vale

I really want to give a top vote for this one, but I can't quite yet. I have some problems with a few word definitions:
"Voy de paso" => "I'm (just) passing through". How does "slowly" fit?
"aprovechar" => "to approve, to enjoy, to make the most of". not "to abuse"
"liviano" => "light, lightweight (ligero)"....as "unfaithful (fickle)" does not necessarily translate back to "liviano"
"Sigo siendo aprendiz" => "I keep on learning". converting the noun "aprendiz / learner / student" to a gerrund. Because "fresher" is not necessarily common usage as a noun, and "I follow onward being a learner (student)" is clumsy in this context.
Although you can find dictionary or lexicon references to alternate definitions, it sometimes helps to check if the your rendering will translate back into the original. Even if it does, you aren't home free. The story portrayed still has to make sense in the target language, and sometimes that means changes to the original story's structure. More later.
