suggestion:
מחוזקים לעולם --> strengthened for ever and ever
לעולם - can be to the world or for ever and ever. The second usage would be clearer in this case i suggest.

strengthened for the world
Strengthened in front of the world

Very literal below:
בסוף יוצאים מחוזקים לעולם - in the end (they) go out strengthened into the world.
so in thinking about it more.. if the meaning is to go out to participate in world events then you could say "into" the world. "To the world" is unfortunately not very meaningful to me.

in this context i don't really see the major difference between "strengthened into the world" or "strengthened for ever (and ever)"
the second option is more permanent of course.
Translators prerogative of course.. unless we have Avraham Tal to ask :-)
