* Warning - the lyrics could sound extremely stupid and yes, they are! In this kind of music the lyrics are the last thing of importance - first is the music which makes your feet dance by themselves. I can assure you there exist much more stupid lyrics than this one.
** Literally - subscribers

You didnt understand the song : right translation is :

Higly privileged people, Big wise guys, bling fanatics
They all go to St Tropez, some go to maldives, other go to dubay
Aleyley again again Aleyaley

Do you really think this deserves a one-star rating?

    Nisan 19th, 2016

yeah i changed it sorry should have checked rating meanings first, but still its so wrong that 3star seems too much

CherryCrush     Nisan 19th, 2016

As a native Bulgarian and fluent English speaker, I must say that the translation is not THAT bad to deserve 3 stars, plus you didn't really point out the mistakes in it, just proposed an alternative version, which is ok, if you wanted to submit a translation of your own, but not ok if you actually vote someone else's work, without giving reasonable corrections proposal. Azis' songs in particular are always hugely interpreted, and that's the tricky part of them - you can have at least 5 different meanings interpretations. (saying that as a person who did translations of his songs myself)

But you cannot say that someone didn't get it right, just because you would write it in a different way. "лъскави магнати" for example doesn't mean "bling fanatics", "магнат" is a person who in the past had many lands, now it's used mainly for people who have many businesses (business empires), it's rather rich kings, shining (in the meaning of both shining with fame and have so many money that they shine) magnates, or can be written as "sleek tycoons", as kdravia did in his translation, or maybe someone else can think of at least 2 other ways to say it. So it's a matter of interpretation Smile

OK still it is not about big tycoons and its not that "stupid" as the translator claims in the comments right ?
I mean he is singing about rich people going to some places ;not subscribers and smart-asses ... is that a 5 star to you ??

Alexander Laskavtsev     Nisan 20th, 2016

You can always add your own variant of the translation if you have another point of view and translation style.
Also, another point of view is not a reason to rate the translation as the weak one. You could just leave your comment, express your opinion in it. But now other people will be thinking that the kdravia's translation contains a lot of grammar mistakes for example...

CherryCrush     Nisan 20th, 2016

As I said, for me, your version is just a different interpretation - not more, not less than the current translation, since Azis' songs have many possible interpretations. Do you even speak Bulgarian to argue so passionately what he is and is not singing about, or did you read it somewhere, or did someone tell you? Because ok, the current translation MAY be a bit more literal than your version, but still, it's a translation of what he's singing about (and the song is not meaningful anyway).

btw, big tycoon, as I already tried to explain you, is the same as a really rich person.

I get that you might be his fan and felt offended by that fact, but, as Alex suggested, you can also post your own version, if you're not happy with the current one, as long as it's not a copy of it.

kdravia     Nisan 20th, 2016

My dear Hizz,
I don't care about your 3 or 1 star vote. The lyrics are really stupid as most of Azis's lyrics which he wrote by himself. For example MMA. There are no verbs in the first verse which is grammatically incorrect. The stupid part is here: "All of them are in Saint-Tropez" and "The other are in the Maldives". Well if all of them are in Saint-Tropez there are no OTHERS. And he even sings about (literally is "the third part") which I translated as "the rest of them". In other words one half of your "Higly privileged people" are in Saint-Tropez, the second half is in the Maldives and the third half is in Dubai. Isn't that stupid? Believe me most of his lyrics are very stupid and meaningless. Other example is One mi...

i didnt mean to make such a mess.
I get your point and i understand u think Azis is just singing meaningless stupid things, its your right, although about this particular song i think not bulgarians speaker will be induced wrong with your translation that is not reflecting what the song is about, thats all.

Still i deleted my rating ok .
Cheers
