وعلبة الثقاب
ودون أن يلاحظ إضطرابي
ودونما إهتمام
تناول السكر من أمامي
ذوب في الفنجان قطعتين
وفي دمي ذوب وردتين
ذوبني .. لملمني.. بعثرني
شربت من فنجانه
سافرت في دخانه
وما عرفت أين
كان هناك جالسا
ولم يكن هناك
يطالع الاخبار
كان هناك
وكنت في جواره
تأكلني الافكار
تضربني الأمطار
يا ليت هذا الرجل
المسكون بالأسرار
فكر أن يقرأني
ففي عيوني أجمل الأخبار
وبعد لحظتين
ودون أن يراني
ويعرف الشوق الذي إعتراني
تناول المعطف من أمامي
وغاب في الزحام
مخلفاً وراءه الجريدة
وحيدة

وحيدة

With the Newspaper
He took a newspaper and a matchbox from his coat;
And without noticing me
Or knowing the desire that overwhelmed me,
He took the sugar from in front of me
And dissolved two pieces in the cup
And in my blood he dissolved two roses.
He dissolved me… gathered me… scattered me.
I drunk from his cup…
I traveled in his smoke to dunno where.
He was there, but wasn't, reading the news.
I was near him, eaten and hit by thoughts.
Wish that that man haunted by secrets
Would read me;
The best news is in my eyes.
And after two moments,
And without noticing me
Or knowing the desire that overwhelmed me,
He took the coat from in front of me
And disappeared into the crowd,
Leaving the newspaper behind him…
Alone… like me… alone.
