When I walk on each of these streets
My heart never seems to be at peace
Apart from roaring of the engines and the electric
sounds, I seem to hear its candlewick heartbeat
Here I laughed

Here I’ve felt lost
Here I sought
and here I’ve lost
Three blocks between the coffee house and the square
Seems like the distance between the neon lights and the moon
In the midst of their struggles, people comfort and hug each other, searching and chasing, grasping at shattered dreams
Here we laughed

and here we’ll die
Here we prayed
Here we’ve felt lost
Here we sought
and here we’ve lost
If one day I have to leave
I hope people will bury me here
Here, I can feel my existence
Here, there are too many things that I long for
