Most Famous LGBT Artists

Artists/performers who are LGBT. Wink smile

malucamaluca    الثلاثاء, 29/01/2019 - 18:46

Well, apparently t.A.T.u. only pretended to be lesbians to become more interesting...

ScieraSciera    الثلاثاء, 29/01/2019 - 19:10

I was not entirely sure - I had skipped through the Wikipedia article which sounded like they are, but now that I re-read it, there are some parts that make it clear that they aren't. Sorry.

Zarina01Zarina01    الثلاثاء, 29/01/2019 - 19:14

One of them said she was bi in real life

malucamaluca    الثلاثاء, 29/01/2019 - 18:46

John Travolta is not out, though...

Black MambaBlack Mamba    الثلاثاء, 29/01/2019 - 18:58

He is. We all know he is bisexual.
He has kisses men in public. Plus, he had some relationships with guys in the past. Does it matter if he say it or not?

SalutonSaluton    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 02:53

Well, I'd say at least half of male pop singers are gay but most of them are in the closet

Black MambaBlack Mamba    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 03:34

Sorry, but Cher is straight. Yeah, many straight people supports LGBT. So what?
Her son is a trans, not her!

SalutonSaluton    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 03:38

Being gay and being part of the community is not the same thing. Heh heh.

Thomas222Thomas222    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 13:57

What do you mean, exactly? Every person that comes out (or stays in the closet but knows what they feel) is a part of the LGBT community. Even if they don't go to Pride Parades or any other related occasion. This community are just people who have different sexualities and/or gender identities than hetero-normative people.

Any random person, at any place, at any time, that decides to come out, I consider a part of my community. And I love my community.

And yes, I am triggered.

DarkJoshuaDarkJoshua    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 14:04

I don't agree with this. I myself should be part of the LGBT community because of my sexual orientation (which I'm not going to share because it's something private and because I don't like identifying myself with labels), but I don't want to be considered part of the LGBT community. Not every non-cishet person wants to be in the community, it's not an obligation. It's not like you're born in a family, so you're part of that family for the rest of your life. I choose to stay away from the community because I don't agree with the way they handle the issues they're trying to sort out and I also heard many claiming it's a toxic environment where you can't express unpopular opinions.
So, no, someone who's non-cishet isn't automatically in the LGBT community.

Zarina01Zarina01    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 14:28

As someone who also doesn't attend pride parades, I feel exactly the same way as you do Joshua 😊😚

Thomas222Thomas222    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 14:42

You don't want to be, but you are. You don't have to consider yourself as such, but you are as such. If you are non-cishet, you are a part of this community simply because of that very reason. You don't want me to consider you a family? Fine. But you are.

And I guess it's different for every country and every person. l love my little community where I live, even though I'll have to marry someplace else. Gay people here are always so nice, and at the Parades everyone's always smiling at me and I smile back, and I just feel like I belong somewhere. Guess there are exceptions.

Thomas222Thomas222    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 14:47

I'm sorry for being a dick, it's just stress. Way too much stress.

I apologize.

DarkJoshuaDarkJoshua    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 14:55

There's a big difference between what one might see and think and what the reality is really like. The LGBT community is, pretty self-explanatory, a community. Being part of a community is not something you're forced to do. The community WELCOMES non-cishet people, but doesn't force anyone to be by their side. If you feel welcomed in the community, I'm happy for you, that's a good thing, but I've never felt welcomed in any group (and not only in the LGBT community) and the fact they want to welcome me just because I wouldn't mind kissing a man, makes me feel even less welcomed. The way they handle this harms all non-cishet people, but that may be just a personal opinion.
And don't apologise. Everything's fine. I just wanted to point out that there's a difference between what people are and what they feel like.

Zarina01Zarina01    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 15:48

Exactly, I'm a bisexual woman, and I don't consider myself to be apart of the lgbt community for personal reasons, but I don't look down upon anyone who does consider themselves to be apart of that community 😊

DarkJoshuaDarkJoshua    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 16:07

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I frequently have unpopular opinions about... well, pretty much anything. I don't look down upon the members of the community, but I do look down upon the community in itself... but I keep my harsh opinions for myself because I know that there are people for whom the community is a positive place and environment and I know how important that is for someone who feels different.

ScieraSciera    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 16:37

I would have understood this collection to be about any musician who is LGBT, not just those who actively identify with that social construct referred to as LGBT-community. But alas, it is an ambiguous term.

Alma BarrocaAlma Barroca    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 18:15

I couldn't agree more with you. I'm a very rigid critical of pride parades here in Brazil. It's too much partying, not as much pride. I also avoid saying this to people I know because it often makes them angry, but I can't simply have no opinion on anything. As long as I'm not disrespectful or offensive, at least for me, it's fine.

SalutonSaluton    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 17:03

What I mean exactly is that Cher is straight but is part of the community

ScieraSciera    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 18:16

You may want to clarify what you mean by "part of the community". I can think of many different definitions, reaching from those which would only include a small segment of people who are LGBT, to those which would include the majority of the western population.

Black MambaBlack Mamba    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 18:21

Cher maybe supports it but she is not bisexual nor lesbian. I partly changed the description, so l think my collection is more specific now. It's about bi/gay/trans people, ok? Oh, and supporters and members is not the same thing.

Alma BarrocaAlma Barroca    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 18:09

Theoretically, the LGBT+ spectrum also has room for allies, those who are not 'queer', but are not against us (yes, I'm no hetero Regular smile ). Here you can have some further info:

But if you're very rigid and want this to only have non-straight (or even non-binary) performers, you're right, Cher shouldn't be added here.

Sailor PokeMoon2Sailor PokeMoon2    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 03:37

I'm not sure if he was already mentioned but Justin Timberlake is gay.

Zarina01Zarina01    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 03:39

He's married to a woman, so no he's not

SalutonSaluton    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 03:40

:))))) Don't be so naive

swedensourswedensour    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 03:46

Why does male pop singer automatically equal gay?

SalutonSaluton    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 04:00

I didn't say that and I don't know about Timberlake in particular but lots of gay people are married, and have children (real children, not adopted or born by surrogate mothers), and love their families. All of which doesn't change their true selves

swedensourswedensour    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 04:08

I understand that lots of gay people are married and happy with their lives, but my question is what specifically makes them gay? And if you're not them, who are you to say what their true self is? I hope my comment isn't coming off as rude, I don't mean it to I just like knowing how people think

SalutonSaluton    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 15:12

What specifically makes them gay? Their sexual orientation, of course. The fact that they prefer to copulate with people of their own sex. That's basically the only difference between them and straight people

swedensourswedensour    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 21:17

I know what gay means. But where has any assumed-straight male pop star ever given any indication of supposedly being gay?

It’s prrtty harmful to the LGBT community anytime a man does something seem as slightly “feminine” to label them as gay. Same with labeling women who do masculine things as “lesbians.” We should just let people identify themselves and stop making assumptions one way or the other.

SalutonSaluton    الأحد, 03/02/2019 - 14:06

First, a pop singer's job is to be charming and attract attention and gays can easily do both (at least more easily than straight people). Second, rumours about lots of gays in the industry are all around. I talked to a guy who works on Russian TV and he confirmed that there are very many gays on TV, including Russian pop stars (note Russia is more homophobic than the West, that's why they don't come out of the closet).

Thomas222Thomas222    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 13:38

Please say "biological" children. "Real" children is offensive.

Black MambaBlack Mamba    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 04:01

Justin is NOT gay at all! He is married to Jessica Biel and have children. I don't remember he said anything about it, right? Don't say whatever come up in your mind without proves.

Sailor PokeMoon2Sailor PokeMoon2    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 04:01

Am I not aloud to say whatever comes up in my mind or something? 😒

Black MambaBlack Mamba    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 04:04

ΝΟ. You have to have evidence of what you say.

Sailor PokeMoon2Sailor PokeMoon2    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 04:24

I can say whatever I want to say! And you do not know what "gay" I was even talking about!

Sailor PokeMoon2Sailor PokeMoon2    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 04:28

I am not going to argue with you any more because I have some English translations to work on. You just work on finding other meanings for the word "gay". I know you will have a "gay" ol' time.

swedensourswedensour    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 04:33

But gay in the context of having a gay time is not the definition of the word gay that's included in LGBT

Sailor PokeMoon2Sailor PokeMoon2    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 04:40

Personally I think it should be because so many are happy to finally "be themselves" and finally be "out of the closet".

swedensourswedensour    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 04:43

It was (mostly) intentional 😂😂

Black MambaBlack Mamba    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 08:33

Gay means homosexual in this collection, not "happy", so your comment is completely irrelevant. And you have to have proves of "making" someone homosexual, honey. So, no, you cannot speak without thinking first. And stop spamming.

Sailor PokeMoon2Sailor PokeMoon2    الخميس, 07/02/2019 - 08:08

Opps I spammed again! This time with a relevant artist's name that you probably never heard of!

malucamaluca    الخميس, 31/01/2019 - 01:34

Sinead O'Connor is heterosexual, I'd say.

Zarina01Zarina01    الجمعة, 01/02/2019 - 16:58

She said she's been in 3 relationships with women in the past

malucamaluca    الأحد, 03/02/2019 - 15:46

I love her, but she's just too crazy.

She's bipolar rather than bisexual...

AldefinaAldefina    الأحد, 03/02/2019 - 15:58

It's all because of her mental illness, which is not a secret. It explains her very strange behavior throughout her whole life and one can only be advised not to take too seriously what she says. It's better just to listen to her songs.

Zarina01Zarina01    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 12:43

She recently came out as bisexual

Black MambaBlack Mamba    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 10:56

It doesn't matter if she supports gays, let's say i also support them, so what? Here is a collection about homosexual or bisexual people, stop write irrelevant people, please.

Black MambaBlack Mamba    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 13:26

Zarina01, can you prove that? In Wikipedia it doesn't say anything like that and in famousfix it says she is straight. I searched that she spoke about her song with Charlie XCX, she wrote it for LGBTQ community, she didn't say she is bisexual.

Zarina01Zarina01    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 13:46

She admitted in a news article that she's been in relationships with both men and women
If that isn't an admission of being bisexual then I don't know what is

Black MambaBlack Mamba    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 18:27

Send a link. I didn't find anything like that. I think you confuse her with Demi Lovato.

malucamaluca    الأربعاء, 30/01/2019 - 21:26

You should leave out people who are not "out and proud".

Sailor PokeMoon2Sailor PokeMoon2    الجمعة, 22/02/2019 - 23:27

Well here is an oldie but goodie suggestion. Sadly, the world may never really know if he ever "came out of the closet" or not but many suggest "some of his song lyrics made references to him being gay". His name is Cole Porter. If you are wondering how I know about the "rumors" that I just mentioned, it's because I live a couple or so miles from his hometown and stuff in his hometown has things dedicated to him or something historical like that....

Oh yeah that's right... Nobody has ever heard of him... I forgot. Here is the link:

As for "proof" that he is in fact gay I can provide LOTS OF proof so just ask and I'll find the "proof" in a matter of minutes (probably even sooner)
