Thank you very much!! I love the poems that Sultan Suleyman wrote also to his friend Ibrahim Paşa. For me Suleyman was the best sultan. I love the hystorical turkish series: Sultan Suleyman, Sultana Kosem and Ertugrul. Also I saw Faith Mehmed but for me Sultan Suleyman, Sultana Kosem are the best. Kosem was too powerful!!

TeSTaMeNTTeSTaMeNT    الثلاثاء, 18/06/2019 - 22:46

You are right, however in my opinion suleyman was not the best, Yavuz Sultan Selim who is the father of Suleyman was better than his son. Series are a little bit jazzier than reality

Dora VysotskayaDora Vysotskaya    الثلاثاء, 18/06/2019 - 22:56

I can't decide if it was Selim or his son Suleyman who was better, but it was the gol era of the Otoman Empire. Saddly Selim (the son of Suleyman) succeed his father I think Mustafa or Mehmed (his first son with Hurrem) would be better both are clever and they know I think 6 languages. After Suleiman I can not find a powerful sultan until Murad IV arrived, the son of Ahmed. Ahmed wasn't a bad Sultan but he didn't participate in any battle he is known for the Blue mosque. Saddly his brother Mustafa was a sick man, but what you can blame him if they lock you in a golden cage? For me the best sultan are: Selim (Suleyman's father) Suleyman, Mehmed III, Murad IV and Ertugrul (I know he was not a Sultan he was a Bey but he was the father of Osman) and he was great too.

I don't know why all these garbage series are famous in outside of the world? However, those series let people to learn Turkish history and culture and even to visit here

Dora VysotskayaDora Vysotskaya    الثلاثاء, 18/06/2019 - 23:37

The problem is not the series. The garbage that occour in all the series is the people who believes them. Many people believe what they see in CSI, Criminal Minds...

"all the ottoman padishahs, they were all poet"

Why, comandante? Why all were poets?

TeSTaMeNTTeSTaMeNT    الثلاثاء, 18/06/2019 - 23:42

Once upon a time there was a literature which is named Divan, and it was incomprehensible for folk, the literature of Divan can only be written by palace poets like padishahs, the poems are written in Aruz Wezni which is very very very difficult for normal people even for people of Istanbul. First of all the poetry is very important for Ottomans. You would be underestimated if you couldn't write poem

Это для нас, атеистов 21-го века, мусор. Во времена написания это были религиозные перлы.

"Onamo, 'namo!" (Serbian Cyrillic: Онамо, 'намо!; English: There, over there!) also known as the Serbian Marseillaise (Српска марсељеза) was a popular anthem in Montenegro in the late 19th to early 20th century. Words was written by prince Nicholas I of Montenegro. Having words that were considered too inflammatory, evoking provocation of the Ottoman Empire, it could not be used as the official state anthem.

А. В. Колчаку, бывшему верховному правителю России, приписывают один антисемитский стишок. Есть разные мнения по поводу авторства.

Если у него нет другого творчества, то вряд ли стоит его упоминать.
